A personalized approach
Start With What You Are Feeling.
You do not need to name the perfect technique. Tell your therapist where you feel discomfort, when it shows up and what you want to do more comfortably. The session is then shaped around your goals and feedback.

Massage may help relieve tension, improve comfort and support movement. It does not diagnose or cure an underlying condition and should not replace appropriate medical evaluation or care.

Helpful Answers.
Which session length should I choose?+
A 30-minute session can focus on one area. Sixty to 90 minutes allows more time for multiple concerns and a gradual pace.
Will the massage be painful?+
Therapeutic work does not need to be harsh. Your therapist adjusts pressure and pace based on your comfort and response.
Should I wait after a new injury?+
Possibly. Seek appropriate medical evaluation for acute injury, severe pain, swelling or symptoms you do not understand.
